  2. Choose the Hotel Classic template or start blank.

  2. Edit menu items (label, destination page, external URL).
  3. Drag-and-drop to reorder. Changes are saved immediately.
  4. Preview navigation on the Live Preview panel.

3. Page Editing Workflow

Create or Edit a Page

  1. Navigate to Dashboard → Pages and select a page or click New Page.
  2. Fill out basic details:
    • Page Title (internal + display).
    • URL Slug (/dining, /offers/winter-escape).
    • SEO metadata (title tag, meta description).
  3. Toggle Draft/Published state as needed.

Section Builder

  • Each page is composed of sections stacked vertically.
  • Click Add Section to choose from the library (Hero, Gallery, Highlights, Testimonials, CTA, Custom).
  • Use the gear icon to configure layout (full-width vs container), background color, spacing, and anchor IDs.
  • Reorder sections using drag handles on the left.

Lexical Rich Text Editor

  • Click inside a text block to launch the toolbar.
  • Available controls: bold, italic, underline, headings, lists, alignment, links, callouts.
  • Insert images via Insert → Media Library, choose an existing asset, or upload new.
  • Editor autosaves in draft mode while you work; the page does not publish until you click Save or Publish.

Media Blocks

  • Add Image blocks to highlight rooms, amenities, or dining.
  • Add Gallery blocks for slideshows.
  • Embed videos via Media → Upload (MP4) or external providers (YouTube/Vimeo) with embed blocks.

Versioning & Drafts

  • Every Save stores a revision in the Versions panel.
  • Click View Versions to compare and restore previous states.
  • Draft changes remain private until you Publish.

Publishing Steps

  1. Click Edit → make content changes.
  2. Hit Save Draft to persist work without going live.
  3. When ready, click Publish; confirm the dialog.
  4. GammaCMS calls webhooks and rebuilds static hotel sites automatically.

4. Media Library

  • Navigate to Dashboard → Media.
  • Upload assets (JPG, PNG, WebP, PDF, MP4). Files are stored in folder hierarchy.
  • Use filters by file type, uploader, or tags.
  • Click an asset to edit title, alt text, captions, and add tags for reuse.
  • Copy direct URLs for marketing campaigns or newsletters, respecting CDN cache.

Best practices:

  • Keep hero images under 250 KB when possible (use built-in compression).
  • Add descriptive alt text to support accessibility.
  • Archive outdated promotional images to avoid clutter.

5. Forms & Integrations

  • Contact forms defined in sections post submissions to connected CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce). Admins configure endpoints; editors can update copy and field labels.
  • Use Automation → Webhooks (if granted access) to create marketing automation triggers.

6. Workflow Tips

Collaboration

  • Multiple editors can work on different pages simultaneously.
  • Use the Activity feed (coming soon) to coordinate updates.
  • Leave inline comments inside sections (feature flagged; contact admin if missing).

Scheduling Campaigns

  • Create campaign pages in advance and keep them unpublished.
  • On launch day, publish the page and update navigation or homepage hero to feature the promotion.

Localization

  • Duplicate pages per language (e.g., /es/dining) and manage metadata accordingly.
  • Future roadmap: integrated translation memory.

7. Troubleshooting
